Artist's Comments

Taken in the station where the Red Line crosses the Blue/Orange Line in the Washington D.C area. Thats about it.

Edit: just wanted to fix a few tiny things I saw. nitpicking really.

Edit Again: Worked with the shadows and highlights a bit. Looks much better now, IMHO. Very happy with it

wow, this is awesome. everything from the centred security guy, the color of his vest, the movement in the train, the spectacular background, and the general tight frameing.
dude, awesome.

i do believe thats the first thing i've put up that you've actually marked a +fav virvar. sweet!

Things I Like: That bright yellow security gaurd (or whatever it is) suit in the middle
The way that you've cut off the top lighting at perfect angels and length
The train going by in a blur of motion

Things To Improve on: Everything else is almost too colourful, maybe if you made the jacket and lights and train the only really colourful things, it would play more on the title. Just desaturating the rest a tiny bit would be enough to drag attention to the things that really mattered.

yeah thats a security guard, sitting on one of those big lit up maps of the metro rails. thanks, i actually thought about doing that with the colors, and emphasizing the train and the guard. i decided to keep it as it, because i didn't want any one part of the picture to be the main focus. I wanted you to take everything in as it is.

Very lovely picture!. I love how the slow shutter speed blurs the train but keeps the people intact (they'r not moving). Certainly a beautiful location like this one helps alot when making a picture, but is the eye of the photographer who finally decides when and how the picture will be taken.

I appreciate the remarks. When I was here I saw the lighting and everything and had to take it.
